I had so much fun with Julie while planning her destination wedding at Carton House for last October. Julie had a great sense of humor, lots of ideas and was totally willing to explore new ideas. If she saw something she liked, she went and got it. Because of that, she brought a huge amount of stock and props over to Ireland from Boston and back. That is real dedication and excess baggage!
She wanted an elegant but whimsical wedding in pale neutral colors, with lush flowers and lots of sparkle and I think she got it.
After lots of emails and photos, the wedding Pinterest boards filled up quickly and here you can see how Julie and Ray’s wedding went from Pinterest to reality.
Here is what I gathered for Julie’s Pinboard. Some images were taken from her won board to keep it all together but you can see the feeling of soft and elegant and whimsey starting along with the sparkle!

And here are the real images from the day.
See any similarities? Honestly what did we ever do without Pinterest?! I use it for everything!
All photos are by the always lovely Christina at Brosnan Photographic and you can see more images on her website here
And I’ll just pop in some thanks to Christina of course, Iseult at The Cake Stand, Stephanie at The French Touch for the flowers {and the laughs!} and the team at Carton House to name a few!
